About Me

My photo
I am a Christian. I am a loving wife to my Army-National-Guard-Recruiter-Husband of 15 years. I am a stay-at-home-mother to our four handsome sons. I am a photographer. My blog is about as erratic, eclectic and random as I am, painted with rainbows of photos and words that are hills and valleys you travel; so lovely sometimes that they hurt you. These are the stories of how far we've come in the last 15 years as Christians, as a family and as individuals.

{March 17, 2011} Seth is Ten

To repeat myself, my boys are getting too grown-up for the childish birthday party invitations you find on the shelves at any given store, so I decided to make theirs this year:

Although Seth's favorite color remains green, I made his invitations in blue because I couldn't find what I needed in green. He no longer takes guitar lessons but he's still a fan of music and anything artistic. He's my little rock star!

Now join me, would you, as I take a trip
down memory lane.

(sorry for the poor quality - we hadn't gone digital yet and most of these were scanned from a scrapbook)

Brad got to witness the miracle of birth the second time around!
But that didn't stop either of us from studying Seth's tiny face.

Time flies doesn't it. (For me I like the phrase, "Time flies when you don't know what you're doing." - Fits me, but you seem to know what you are doing. Your boys are great!)

I forgot to tell you how creative you are with the invitations - I love them and I'm sure your boys did too. Also, the pix that you took at the end of the post are fabulous. If you are ever in TN I want you to show me some tips on how to get a good picture (not very hard for you when he is so handsome though is it?).
