About Me

My photo
I am a Christian. I am a loving wife to my Army-National-Guard-Recruiter-Husband of 15 years. I am a stay-at-home-mother to our four handsome sons. I am a photographer. My blog is about as erratic, eclectic and random as I am, painted with rainbows of photos and words that are hills and valleys you travel; so lovely sometimes that they hurt you. These are the stories of how far we've come in the last 15 years as Christians, as a family and as individuals.

{October 16} Pumpkin Patch - It's Tradition!

Well, every year we take the boys to this Pick-Your-Own-Pumpkin Patch.
It's great!  They have a corn maze we walk through, little shops with hand painted & hand sewn seasonal items and pumpkins galore to choose from!  Mom really wanted to go with us on our trip there this year but her flight left on the 14th of October and they didn't open for business until the 16th so these photos will have to do!

Seth is constantly commenting on how I'm always the one taking pictures so there are never any pictures OF me so he asked if he could be my photography assistant; he took the photos of me!  Isn't he great!

Waiting on Brad to load up our pumpkins so we can go into the corn maze!
Then when he got back HE offered to take a photo of me with the boys. I love it!
As soon as we entered the corn maze the boys took off running and Hayden called dibs on being the leader. (see his little foot there in front of Seth?)

Every time we bring them here they have to get a picture in a pumpkin!
When we saw these storm clouds rolling in we loaded up and rolled out!
 Our picks

Hayden felt the need to "keep them safe"
I just can't get enough of that face!
By now I'm sure you're asking yourself, "Doesn't she have four sons?"  The answer, of course, is "YES!" but Tristen is growing up really fast on us; he was invited to join his friend, Max, at Knott's Berry Farm for Max's birthday and opted out of going to the pumpkin patch with us : ( ...and so it begins...

For real. Tristen looks just like Brad in this picture. Hilarious.

I am working on getting our pictures of our time at the Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze in Boise, ID - should see it up shortly....

Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing. I so wanted to be there but am glad you went, took pics and boys had fun. You got some great pumpkins, I would want to guard them too!
I do have a question.....is that ONE or TWO fingers Brad is holding up behind your head? (LOL, even G'ma noticed that!) LOL
Yes, these boys are all growing up so fast. Did Tristen have fun at Knotts?
