About Me

My photo
I am a Christian. I am a loving wife to my Army-National-Guard-Recruiter-Husband of 15 years. I am a stay-at-home-mother to our four handsome sons. I am a photographer. My blog is about as erratic, eclectic and random as I am, painted with rainbows of photos and words that are hills and valleys you travel; so lovely sometimes that they hurt you. These are the stories of how far we've come in the last 15 years as Christians, as a family and as individuals.

{July 3} Robotic Dinosaur Exhibit

On our way home from Palm Springs Hayden noticed the HUGE Dinosaurs on the side of the 10 FWY so since we were in no hurry, we flipped the car around and went to check them out.  Who knew the dinos are actually little shops and there is a robotic dino museum associated with those two giant buildings?!  We had a fantasticly spontaneous time!

Seth:
Hayden pointing up at HOW GIGANTIC this thing is!
The sign that tipped us off!
Herbivore
Watch the end of this clip closely... OH how I WISH I knew what took Hayden's attention away from showing me his find!
Gonna do some digging:
Found one!
They each foound a "fossil" and now get to go into the store and exchange their findings for prizes!

Now they're gonna do some panning
Here's a chart of what they might find
here are some of the favorites seen on the path
Hayden thought this snake was real; and he WASN'T afraid!
"on the path" to where, you may have been wondering...??
Why, inside the mouth of a T-Rex... that's where!!!
Our view from in there
It was very windy

posing on a "prehistoric" turtle
Just to give you an idea of just how big these things on the path were... and how reachable!
A random soldier, (don't ask) but the boys pretended it was their Dad!  HAHA!  (Since he's a soldier & wasn't able to join us on this "mission")
"Garrett, you can pick you friends and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends' nose!"
However random this guy may have seemed, I certainly like the setiment.
Inside the shop where he robotic dinosaurs were; look at my little hatchlings!
I asked myself when uploading the above photo, "what was Seth looking at?" and came to this conclusion
Reminds me of Michael Jackson! LOL!
The Main Attraction:  Robotic Dinosaurs!!!

The boys had such a blast!  They want to go again and again!  I'm so glad we happened upon this place!

A couple of years ago we went to a Dinosaur Museum in KY (it wasn't robotic though) and the boys loved it. It had a lot of similar things to do as the one you went to. Anthony and Rance were really young then, we might have to try it again next summer now that they are older.
