About Me

My photo
I am a Christian. I am a loving wife to my Army-National-Guard-Recruiter-Husband of 15 years. I am a stay-at-home-mother to our four handsome sons. I am a photographer. My blog is about as erratic, eclectic and random as I am, painted with rainbows of photos and words that are hills and valleys you travel; so lovely sometimes that they hurt you. These are the stories of how far we've come in the last 15 years as Christians, as a family and as individuals.

Rocked out Garbage Disposal

While Brad was vacuuming the pool out and I was folding some laundry, Seth came to me saying there was something wrong with the kitchen sink. It was clogged. Ok, so, that happens sometimes, just turn on the insinkerator... BIG MISTAKE! What Seth failed to tell me was that he had poured dirt and rocks into the sink to clean out the mud-pie he had made! I attempted to take out what was stuck and almost got my hand stuck, praise be to God that my husband has become a better "fix-it" man! He was able to take the insinkerator apart and clean out all the dirt and rocks and now it works again and Seth learned not to bring mud-pies into the house!
~BOYS~!
What I pulled out:
Brad, taking the whole thing apart:

Seth, watching his Dad and realizing just how bad a mistake he had made:

Life with boys! What a joy! (Really, most of the time it is, it's those rare (or not so rare) occasions that make life...let's say interesting.)

This is definitely the stuff that make for fond memories! Ryan never played with dirt, so I never had to deal with any of this stuff. But now I don't even know Ryan! He's doing all kinds of "boy stuff" that he missed doing as a child.
