About Me

My photo
I am a Christian. I am a loving wife to my Army-National-Guard-Recruiter-Husband of 15 years. I am a stay-at-home-mother to our four handsome sons. I am a photographer. My blog is about as erratic, eclectic and random as I am, painted with rainbows of photos and words that are hills and valleys you travel; so lovely sometimes that they hurt you. These are the stories of how far we've come in the last 15 years as Christians, as a family and as individuals.

Kindergarten Promotion {our last}

My handsome youngest love.  Hayden Rhys. We're so proud of him.  He has overcome so much in his short life and now is a kindergarten graduate.  I know it seems minuscule to some, but what an honor to be there when all four of my children promoted out of their first year of state-required academics.
Our family has been blessed with being able to attend one of the most amazing schools and with THE most amazing teachers!  Mrs. Karlen will forever be in our hearts and in our lives.
First-made best friends: Dylan & Hayden
First-made female friend:                    What a blessed time I had
Hayden & Mylah                           working with Mrs. Karlen
 The Logos
Hayden's Sunday-school teachers, Mrs. Lenora & Mrs. Jo came to his kinder promotion!  He was so surprised and touched!
My handsome & goofy boy. (This is what he refers to as his "giant fly face")
After the ceremony Seth & Garrett had to return to class and Brad to work.  Since Tristen attends school in a different district now (Jr. High), he was out for Summer break already and joined Mom (Nana), Hayden and me at Red Lobster (Hayden's choice) for a celebratory lunch!!
It doesn't matter where we go, he orders chicken & french fries!  I secretly think he chose Red Lobster for me since he knows how much I love that place and rarely get to go since my dear husband is not a seafood fan.  He's so thoughtful, that Mr. Rhys!
Photos complements of my mom, Diane.  Hayden moved over to our side of the table when he saw the desert I'd ordered... I have NO IDEA what Tristen & I were up to in this shot but it makes me smile.
I love how Hayden is in his own world sneaking ice cream off my plate!
Awe. I love these guys... my first-born & my baby.
I'm not sure why, but mom didn't make
it into many pictures. Man!  She looks        Tristen being silly put Hayden's
good when she does though!                     clip-on tie on his t-shirt!

After school let out for Garrett & Seth (and our large lunch had settled) we continued to celebrate by taking all of the boys to Baskin Robbins for ice cream cones!
Hayden, still wearing his "graduation clothes" and hat to match sure enjoyed his day!
Some more professional grade photos to commemorate the milestone:
Time's not up yet, so I'll try to get together one more blog posting in today!

Ok, I am feeling majorly motivated to get my new blog up and running.. as you can see, I already have a new user name, I don't remember how to log into my other one. LOL! So, now, I am known as R2SonshinesMama- will have to start blogging for sure. I love the photo of all of you as a family at the graduation, and I love that you are wearing the necklace I got you. I love that necklace. I still haven't gotten one for myself! LOL
